This past Sunday, 10/29/23, the Massillon Amateur Radio Club (MARC) returned to MAPS (Military Air Preservation Society hangar) in Green Ohio. This was another great hamfest in every way!
Early count shows over 700 joined us on a cold, rainy Ohio morning for the day's festivities. When you add 100 vendors and additional support staff that makes for a pretty good swap! Record attendance, record prizes and record vendor participation- these all pretty much sums up the day.
Thanks to sponsors like Dakota Lithium, Heil Audio, Be Loud, Hammond Electronics, Arrow Antenna, Flex Radio, ICOM, N3FJP Logger, Ham Radio Deluxe, DX Engineering, Ham Radio Outlet, Gigaparts, B&T Firearms, LLC., DXE Contest University, Dayton Hamvention, Precise RF, The Wiremen, and other sponsors we were able to give about $5,000 in prizes away during the 5+ hour event.
